Finally found the fault

So after years of having a problem with the car not started on very cold frosty morning and having even let a LR main dealer look into the issue, it took a good friend who is an electrical engineer to diagnosed the problem.

Turns out that one of the cables to the glow plugs was fault and in turn kept blowing the 50amp fuse and therefore knocking out all three glow plugs on that fuse. We sorted the fault, changed the fuse and its working fine now...... how annoying Smile

The only thing i've noticed is that the FBH is running for longer - does anyone know if this is standard or is there a preset time/temperature that it should cut out ?

thanks

The fbh does burn fuel obviously. But I've never noticed my mpg be drastically effected.
