We have but you then get to the difficulty of trying to get him back.... and moreover having loaned out ponies before if it hasn’t been looked after to the standards that you want you set yourself up for a world of pain...
Plus you then try and have to redo the training that four years with someone else riding has up!
It’s easier to let the new owner take over completely...its their horse then to do as they see fit...

That’s nice loaning is such a bad idea. I would let her carry on with it as long as poss I’ve customers that take there horse to uni with them
