Well I just spent £150 on lights again need spear head lights but I'm getting 2 of these to try out there smaller then the old ones that Ultraleds used to sell and hope they last longer then 5 mounts so if you want to try some SKU: LED501360S try here http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/home.php?cat=885 and here for othere types of LED's http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/home.php?cat=269 and they do Free P7P over £10.

The LED501360S looks identical to the 501 Mini Towers that Ultraleds used to sell. See the problems we've been having here:

They don't seem to last more than six months before flickering or failing completely. It doesn't seem to be a heat issue because the rear number plate led's fail as well.2005 D3 HSE 2011 D4 Landmark 2016 D4 HSE Lux

.... which is probably why UltraLeds withdrew them I guess. Both my number plate LEDS failed along with the sidelight ones. Now awaiting replacements of different type

this was the text of the email sent to me regarding the faulty LEDs:
Hi we no longer do these bulbs , but we can replace them with U5019W. Please send back the faulty bulbs quoting the returns number above.
Thanks

LEDS
They're the ones I fitted as sidelights and numberplate lamps last month. Fingers crossed for us both then
After two sets of front sidelight bulbs, I got fed up with them flickering and eventually they blew (never lasted more than three months)
Now ordered bulbs from Autobulbs Direct as suggested by WillMyth hope these prove to do the job.
(HSE with adaptive lights - is this the problem?)"SAME S**T DIFFERENT DAY"

Might be adaptive heat issue the very reason I have not fitted leds to the front
Ultra Leds have been fitted in the Stop/tail unit in both og my D3's with no issues at all

ULTRALEDS ARE CRAP !!!!!
That's a bit generalised Biffo
I've not had any significant issues with them over the last 5 years . I did have one set of their very latest side light towers that failed but were replaced under the warranty. IMO Ultraleds continue to push the LED technology application better than other similar operations 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
