Punto wipers... Known issue. Had to rescue my eldest from m61 when his broke. The fix is whack it back on and weld a washer to the end of the pin it is meant to be on.
 .

Punto! Bought it for my boys to learn to drive in, 2005.

Ended up using it myself when diesel went to 1.45 a litre. Did 50k in it, then the clutch exploded, and took a chunk out of the gearbox casing, spewing contents of gearbox onto the A34.

Thought about scrapping but found a second hand gearbox. Fixed it in my garage. Got another 10k miles then sold it to my mate for his kids to learn in. That was about 7 years ago and he's just sold it on again.

So old Punto's never die, they slowly regenerate over time!
