If the repair has been done properly (if the seller has before and during photos?) and the price is right I wouldn’t worry too much. Of course you’ll never get away from the Cat C but because of the cars age it just means that the insurance company assessed it as being beyond economical repair for them, but it might not have been that badly damaged?
If you intend keeping it for a while, and can find out about its history............

Two issues spring to mind.
1. Check your insurance company will insure Cat C/D cars, because not all of them do.
2. If your car is ever stolen or written off, they will pay out less because of the Cat status.
But if you pay significantly less (10%?) I guess that's not an issue.

It does look like a nice car, but I,m thinking that you could buy an undamaged/unrecorded one for the same or less. Looking at the age of the car, the service history detail re belts, gearbox flushing and oil pump etc is vitalNot such a Disco Newbie now!
