So...a long drive towing an empty car trailer from London to Edinburgh with no problems until about 30 miles from Edinburgh. The red triangle of doom flashes up along with the' Engine System Faulty' message and the car goes into limp home mode. Switch of and on, fine for a short time the repeat. Fault code is 'Low fuel rail pressure'
This happens a few time more frequently and as I get into Edinburgh I realise that getting home with a loaded car trailer is not going to happen.
A quick Google find 'Whites' Land Rover specialists 3 miles from my location. A quick call to them and I am asked to come straight down for diagnosis.
Best guess leads to a Diesel filter change and this get me home with no problems and I have had no problems since. Didn't look like the filter had been changed for a long time.
Hope this little story helps someone else sometime
