Ah I was going to add a pic of my D3 outside of this building but can't find the film location topic any more!!
As to this topic, I agree that ranting does not help anyone, as to AF I have had good service from them but also a faulty part and the odd incorrectly labelled part on the website so I do understand the frustration.
I is always annoying when you expect you car back on time and it gets delayed but this can happen for many reasons particularly to LR vehicles of any age.Series 1 V8

I feel slightly embarrassed for you. Mistakes happen, no need to blow your top about it.
AF have been superb for me. Cannot fault them. I generally go and stick my head round the door rather than get delivery.
Does the garage do a courtesy car? What if they had to shut in an emergency midway through your car. What would happen then?1995 Discovery 1 300TDI

Just come across this thread and the OP comes across as a arrogant who obviously thinks been an veteran means he has some sort of special right, never mind his superior disabled veteran status
Shocking attitude to a mistake, if things like this are so life threatening then get the items checked before the jobs started, that way you know the parts are correct.
God help any one that works on your vehicle and needs to order a part that’s found to be faulty and you have to wait for the part to be delivered, like a lot of items nowadays, you’ll have they hung a dawn

OP has blown his stack and written a long and protracted reaction. He was full of the "red mist" when he wrote it and didn't take a breath to calm down. I think he has now. Stay calm mate, none of this *hit is worth getting enraged about. It was a mistake and they will put it right.
AF and Steve were very helpful to me on a few occasions, even sending me a couple of new halogen bulbs FOC they wanted to test out when I was unhappy with my originals (Not AF supplied). Steve is always willing to chat and try to work out what's needed so I really can say the service they give is top draw.
I would thoroughly recommend them.
OP I would recommend a holiday.

By the way, I'm not current or ex military, so does that make me a lower class of person?
Happy New Year
How many breaths are you taking to make it through today ? one or two really big ones should get you through the whole day !!
Has this guy never made a mistake ? Even worse, imagine meeting this guy in a pub after a couple of pints.
Can I please ask the Mod's to close this thread, it does not help anyone.
This is a great Forum, (nearly as good as the RR Sport Forum) We do not need this crap

You know she's listening????
I'm potentially looking at buying something expensive and off/road related over the coming weeks.....I may even have to mention it to her as it will be impossible to hide it! Only question is 1) do I get it and 2) do I mention the actual price?
More breaths needed me thinks Iggy/Ieuan

And say it was double what you actually paid. You know she's worth it.
