Reverse mirror not returning to normal after pulling away |
|
As above, the manual suggests it should do so and the mirror motor seems to be working fine as it moves every which way.
I found something on t’net suggesting it may be because I don’t have memory seats and the ‘memory’ for the mirror would be in the ‘memory’ for the seats....?!
Is this correct?
Thanks!

The dipping function of the door mirror position, for reversing, is tied into the memory function of the seats on my HSE and can also can be switched on & off in the setting.

Hi Space Cadet.
Don't think this really answers your question but might be useful. I have memory seats and after dipping my mirror returns to the position in the memory. If there's no memory for the mirror position I don't know how the car would know where to position the mirrors afterwards, but perhaps it simply works by just putting them back to where they were before?)
My mirror dip option is in the menu (OK), vehicle set up and 5th One down is reverse mirror dip which is ticked.
Sorry if this is just stating the obvious. Gary

Thanks all, I thought as much, I definitely don’t have the option in the settings menu, annoyingly the manual does not refer to it only working if other options such as the seats are fitted, or if the car was say an HSE.
Thanks anyway
