Ecu flashed with latest firmware problem still there😢
So to date the following has been addressed
New dual mass flywheel/clutch
6 new injectors
New fuel filter
Oil temp sensor
Coolant sensor
Air mass tested
Map sensor tested
Still missfires and runs like crap
On cold start it actually fires up better and gets a bit worse as it warms up
No other fault codes other than injectors, the value of balance changing from cylinder to cylinder over time
Next step to come to an arrangement on the injectors which ive already paid for and get the d3 back for Mick Cookson to cast his eyes over, im out of ideas and so is the diesel injector specialist its been with fir nearly a month
Well off with it, but still love it, i must be mental

I’m not sure what I’m talking about because I’ve never taken a D3 engine apart like others on here.
If you have had a new clutch and flywheel, could the crank position sensor or trigger ring have been damaged or be loose?
Might be a load of ballcocks but might explain why it’s so random?
Like said, engine only needs compression, air and fuel at the right time to run.

Thanks Gareth hope you are well👍
The dmf/clutch was done after the problem of the misfire started and was though to be the initial cause
That doesnt rule out a potential sensor problem though however to date ive had no dash lights and only fault codes after twenty scans so far are all injector related. Somethings wrong somewhere and its so annoying that it cant be found....................................................................................................

I had a misfire on a track car that was a pig to diagnose as it only happened when the car was really warmed up, never on public roads or on warm up laps. Turned out that one of the leads to an injector was wearing through with only a few wires left. Enough to drive fine under normal drving but to misfire under track conditions.
Just a thought D4 GS 12MY
