Dick , if you purchase an extendable floor mop you can swop the sponge head for the mirror.This can be stowed in the glovebox.It saves having to get out of the car and undo the lashings holding the bamboo to the roofrack.

Yes but bamboo is more robust ....and environmentally friendly 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

On the old Rover P6 the side light clear surround had a little extended spike that came up over the end of the wing so you could see whether it was lit up or not
