Hard brake pedal every morning
I have a MY10 and every morning for the last couple of weeks the brake pedal is rock hard. Does anybody have any ideas before I change the brake servo. My garage is going to change the first pipe out of the servo as that only £9 and easy to try.
I have read loads about Discovery 3s having an issue but nothing on the 4s, any ideas

Suggests to me that the none return valve in the vacuum source is leaking overnight . If its in the pipe your garage is right in suggesting that first. If you start the engine with your foot on the brake pedal, the pedal should go down and have a softer feel. My Diesel did it after about 4 days if not used ,

yes its fine when engine is running so its just leaking overnight which it shouldn't really.
Just seeing if any less expensive things to do before changing the servo.

All fixed, it was sorted by changing the pipe coming out of the servo.
