Front runner rack
How much should I be looking to pay for a front runner roof rack guys? I am sure a few of you have these. "The fate of the wounded lies in the hands of the one who applys the first dressing"

You will stand a better chance of getting hold of him by opening a few bottles of SanMiguel and wafting the smell towards Derby. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Thanks for the offer saw. Won't be buying until I have done a load of overtime looking at the prices
I spoke to APB earlier they are doing Big Country racks full length for £670 + VAT they are prepared to do some discount if I can organise a group buy of 5 or more.
Don't fancy my chances though.
P.s Its nice to know your still alive Ten thanks for the message. "The fate of the wounded lies in the hands of the one who applys the first dressing"

Blaserman,
Phil at APB seems to think that the Big Country racks give off less wind noise that the FrontRunner racks because the bars run front to back on the BC rather than Left to Right on the FR.
I had a look at the BC sometime ago and looks of similar construction / size.
If you get one fitted I would interested to see if it is indeed quieter... as I may be interested.Duncan

He said the same thing to me, he was mumbling something like a 10% discount on a group buy.
To be fair it does look well made, with the advantage of having the rail around the top which the front runner does not have.
As for wind noise I don't know how bad the front runner is, this would make it hard to compare

Front Runner are not very noisy at all, of course you do get some wind noise but then you do with all racks... especially when you put things on them
The additional rails can be a blessing or a curse dependent on what you want the rack for, for me the BC isn't what I want as it's heavier than the FR (therefore reduced capacity) and I can't carry over-length items easily.
also the FR comes with replacement roof rails which are a lot stronger than the LR standard ones
