Leaky exhaust?
Gd’evening all... quick brain pick, my girlfriend started the disco up this morning (being aware of the cold temperature this morning) and she said there was steam/smoke coming from underneath the engine area out around the front of the car... my initial thought was just hot air flowing around condensation the cold air in the engine bay... but she said it smelt like ‘smelly diesel exhausty smell’
But starting the car later on in the day it didn’t do the same thing again
So do some engines smell when they cold start?
I have a 2013 Ford ranger from new and have never had any smells from the engine
Any help greatly appreciated

Yep it’s that time of year again for the smoke coming out from front of car, it’s the fuel fired heater totaly normal to stop the smell set the air con to recycling until you drive awayRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

No need to feel that way it’s happened to the best of us, mine was in a car park after several failed attempts to start it fired up full off diesel the smoke was billowing out 😂Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car
