Overfinch alloys (if genuine) should be OK, but check the tyre weight rating is 111 or above. Are they on ebay? If so, post the item number and I'll take a look.

Are they the ones for 1099, in Hornsey?
well - a couple of things would make me cautious:
1) it says Overfinch style - so copies, and it doesnt state the wheel weight rating, and
2) tyres are only 103 rated, so way to low for the D3, and I've tried 275/45x20 Nexen Roadian tyres, and they are cheap and cheerful. I wouldnt buy them again. They seem to move on the road, making the car feel nervous all the while.

ST1 . Run a mile mate .... these are not for you ...
if they are not Overfinch .... as Al has mentioned they are a copy coming out of china.
these were in the news before due to failure , i think someone was hurt very badly .
Overfinch even released a statement to advise people of this ... be very careful here.
Also 103's ... wil not work on a Disco. you would be just under half a ton over their Weight
rate.
They do look one of my fav 22'' ..

I am thinking about fitting a set of 22 overfinch wheels to my discover 3 and need advice about what issues may arise and whether i need to buy better quality tyres. I found a set on ebay but dont really understand if they are the correct ones.

Why 22" wheels ?
Harsh ride, useless for the car's intended purpose, b... expensive, & IMHO look awful (Bling).

I was worried about all the same things you were. I have had 22" wheels on for 2 weeks now and I'm impressed. I went with toyo proxes 285/40r22 and I have had no negative effect on ride comfort or rubbing in any mode. 22" wheels don't look out of place

I haven't noticed any drop in ride comfort. Previously I was running Pirelli Scorpion Zero's 255/55r18.
Size is personal preference, I think 22's suit them being such a large car without looking ridiculous. I have kept my 18's for offroad though.

well if you were running 255/55x18's, these were the wrong size anyway (might be a typo, as should be either 255/60x18's, or 255/55x19's).
A 22 with 40 profile will give a much harsher ride than a 55 or 60 profile tyre, as there is nowhere near as much sidewall to flex. I'm running 20's on mine with 265/50x20's as I didnt want to ruin the ride too much. I can notice when I drop back to my 255/60x18 AT's that the ride softens up.

Your tyres have a profile height of 132mm mine have 113mm. I haven't noticed a stiffer ride but that might be because I drive the work ute all day.
