[For Sale] Java Black Discovery 3 Auto 2.7 tdv6. REDUCED
It’s with a heavy heart that I’m selling my Discovery 😞
It’s a 2006 55reg which is the lower tax band
Ive had for 3 1/2 years. It a SE but I’ve done lots of subtle updates to make it nearly the same as a HSE.
These include
5 x 19”HSE wheels inc spare
V8 front discs and pads
Goodyear Wranglers 7-8mm
4x4 info screen
Click on dash
2 keys
Full Led bulb upgrades
Parrot Bluetooth
Full LR dog guard
Black leather interior
Harmon cardon cd multi changer
Rubber boot mat
DeTangoed headlights
D4 rear lights
Clear side repeaters
Upgraded front grill and side vent
Colour matched door handles and mirror covers
The engine has had a Bespoke DYNACHIP remap which releases loads of torque and has improved MPG. The EGR valves have been professionally blanked also.
The cam belt and oil pump have been done. There is a stack of receipts and old paperwork covering past maintenance and servicing.mileage is 138k
Earlier this year I had the gearbox oil and filter changed and did the metal sump conversion at the same time.
The bodywork is is good condition for a 11 year old car with a couple of age related marks the worst of which is the paint bubbles on the lower tailgate about the size of a 50p.
It really has been a pleasure to own and never let me down I’m only selling to buy a Range Rover.
I know the price varies a lot on these but I think something near £7650 would be fair.

Scooby - have you read the rules on posting on someones for sale thread?
If you're not interested then perhaps look somewhere else, its not up to you to decide if something is worth the money or not.
Here's a flavour of the posting rules
"Don't spoil others' threads, if you have a comment which could be seen as damaging a sale or request then send a PM in the first instance"

It’s fine I don’t take it personally it’s worth what someone is prepared to pay ! It may be a little overpriced but you don’t start low and go high do you? If I need to sell it quickly I could always lower the price.
I did look at others for sale and yes prices do vary a lot! Some a lot lower but seem to be lower spec and no updates. There’s some very similar around the £8000 mark too they are really difficult to price

Sold mine for £200 more than your asking price 4 weeks ago and it was just collected last week, and it was very similar in miles spec colour and service history.
The 1st person that came to look at it bought it.
There is plenty cheaper but there’s plenty that’s rough and they need money spent on them plus a lot of horrible colour combinations for sale in early cars.
