OK thnx.
But hard reset will reset all sorts of things I think ?
Like key fob code? I dun want more problems.
Is there a reset just for the radio?
I have an OBDII and APP if that might help identify the fault / reset. Would it?
Many thnx for suggestions.Camberley, Surrey.

I didn't realise I had to switch the radio on before using MENU OK. Its not my fault..u didn't tell me that.

Crikey. I won't ask how long it took to discover that the ignition need to be turned on and engine started before you could drive the car.2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.
I was going to chastise Barn1e for being a bit harsh on a nube ... then spotted this :

Did not mean to be harsh, it was my poor sense of humour. 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

No - hard reset does not reset all type of things - radio is about it. hard reset just restarts all the computers.
