D3 - crash

Attended a first aid course yesterday for regular travelers into remote areas. This one is done by a crowd called Outdoormedical who uses Land Rovers for their field ambulances.

Got hold of this disturbing photo showing what a D3 SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE Exclamation

and one showing what it SHOULD LOOK LIKE Thumbs Up

Do you know the circumstances of the crash? Looks like it fell off a cliff. I've seen the odd rolled D3 for sale (autotrader & Ebay) but nothing anywhere like this wreck.

Ouch - was it one of their D3's?
Loving the power of the TDV8!

No idea how it happened, but paramedics confirmed that driver (who was alone) was not seriously injured

Yeah, we get slap-dash parking in the UK, too

Wink
2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

I wonder what the driver remembers.
Was he buckled up?
I am always concerned about an exit through the roof, that has happened on a Disco2.
Andrew, perhaps the FR roof rack may contain the shredding of the roof?
