Says mine is worth £2700. That means I have had average depreciation of £2500 over the 12 years of ownership. Not bad even with the running costs on top which is helped by some DIY and using Geoff.
2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

£4,000 for me too..

I'd rather drive it off Watney pier than take that for it to be honest..

Dark Bluie was about £2,800, but that was in "fair" nick, plus would have had to put the seats back in. And not stripped her. Whistle Whistle Redults on that consistent with AutoTrader and WBAC. Worth more as a pile of parts. Thumbs Up

Mine is worth more to me than its value. I bought it as a car to run for 10 years and throw away. its done more than that and I expect to keep it another 2 years but also run an electric car alongside it.

must admit can't see ur discos being valued that low Bow down

considering the amount of hours and work that's u guys have put into them Thumbs Up

according to the web site mine is max 4,900

also thinking along those lines it's worth a lot more to me , considering how versatile it is, plenty of room, eats the miles on the motorway in a quiet comfortable cab , dogs can stretch out on the middle seats , safe and the extra bruce bonus will keep going when the tarmac stops Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Well mine has 182,000 and a pile of mods and bullet proof history and a wad of receipts over an inch thick. I paid £10k for it a year ago and spent around £7,000 on it since and continue to spend..

Is it worth £17,000? Of course not. Is it worth £4,000?

It is being managed and maintained on the basis that, catastrophic failure aside (fire or rta), I will keep the car on the road indefinitely. What will it be worth in ten years time when I am finished with it? Who knows and actually I don't really care..

hi professor

how very true regarding the value of the vehicle in comparison to what there worth is to us

mines on 98,000 and think by next year will have brought it back up to a good high standard, after realistically starting from the ground up

In oct it will be a year of ownership and regardless of the price the amount of work i've done , still adore my disco land wouldn't have it any other way Thumbs Up

An M reg disco 1 went the other day for £7,000 - underlining these are future classics and will reach a point where the age is irrelevant and condition is everything.

I can confirm the middle Value roughly equates to CAP trade values on our systems. Thumbs Up

was that the one members of the landyzone forum

think it also proves people will indeed pay whatever they feel it's worth and sometimes ignore the actual market value of a vehicle
