Rear parking sensor issue
Hi All,
I know this is an old topic and im quite familiar with the issues and fixes and when the issue came up on my D3 i thought it would be simple to repair.
So when selecting reverse i hear the short beep as normal then after a few seconds i get a continuous beep
[standard tone]. i then listened to the sensors with vehicle in reverse & ign on and found one sensor to be silent. [Near side - first on loom] so i ordered a new sensor and proceeded to install whilst th ebumper was off I Inspected the loom and found no issues/corrosion/damage so replaced bumper and thought that was it. Upon test i still have the same issue
I have ordered a new loom which will arrive this week, does anyone know if this is likely to be the loom or can there be something else causing this issue.......all front sensors are clicking away as normal [but then i cant see how this would effect the rears?]
Thanks in advance

Sounds like a problem with the black or brown wires in the loom.
Don't think it can be anything else
Fronts are all connected to it.

These parking sensors are more trouble than their worth right pain in the backside when you have fault issues. Good luck with sorting it out.... D3 HSE

i've also got the pleasure of replacing the rear bumper loom
did swap the outside sensor round to prove it was the loom at fault
just got to get round to it, lol
