I've had the same for approx 12 months now, no one seems to know what the cause is
Noticed mine going around roundabouts to start with and then sometimes on full lock reversing.
Passed MOT recently so can't be too serious
Yours could be totally different though and maybe just the stops that requires greasing?Discovery3 TDV6 GS

I have a low clunk when reversing with full left hand lock, mine has done it for approx 12 -18 months
It's been serviced 3 times and on the first service they said it needed a bottom ball joint which I thought would cure it but it didn't and it's had a clean bill of health on the following services
I have now fitted both bottom ball joints and a NSF drive shaft and still clunking
There is no play in any other suspension component or the top ball joints so I might do the OSF front drive shaft in the next 6 months, but I will live with it for now

Ive seen this on a few D3's now, it just seems to be the whole system moving about a bit under load, remember your moving a 2.5 ton monster and every part is doing its best to keep you in the air, all at the same time, some things can be like spring loaded and when they get a chance to flex back under load, they will,
that's the way i was told my LR main dealer master tech,

Might also be the transfer box locking up. Have you checked your tyre pressures lately? Have you had the alignment done (or done anything to hit the alignment out?). Transfer box calibration might be in order, might not be that but if you happen to have an IID or similar it could be a quick fix

Mines been doing it for a while, it is slowly getting more noticeable. I've put it down to the inner track rod ends or the steering rack.
Must get under and have a look!Richard

I've noticed mine doing something like this s couple f times recently. Since I had the inner track rod ends flagged as an advisory so I might start here.
Then I just need to work out what the new intermittent 'squeak' is.
I have thison my D3, I replaced teh trackrod end that was on my advisory and it seemed to go away , but really it didnt and is still doing it , full lock (RH down) and reverse from park.
For a laugh i asked Kwik fit and they got themselves quite annoyed today trying to locate it. they will have a nother look on the MOT station ramps next week.
Doesnt seem fatal as the rattled the whole car!!

Had a clunking on full lock when I bought my D4, took it to local indie who greased up the stops and no more clunking...I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Yep, see my post above. Exactly what happened on mine. Was making an annoying clunk on full lock. Bit of grease and was good as gold.2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

When I had new lower arms put on, it made an awful grinding clunk on full lock in either direction. Right enough, found very little info about those little nodules that need some grease and all of a sudden it was gone.
