| Which main dealer in Midlands? |

I need to book in for my year 2 service. Prefer to have the car serviced in the main dealer network whilst it is still inside manufacturers warranty.
Problem is I've tried all the local dealers at some point over the last few years and never been particularly happy with any of them.
The choices are:
Guy Salmon Coventry - last went here about 5 years ago. Quality and knowledge seemed good, prices were very high even by dealer rates what's the latest on them?
Listers Solihull, went here few years back when it was Stratstone. Surprisingly good experience at the time but now moved over to Listers which is an unknown quantity to me.
Lancaster LR (is it?) on the Tyburn Road used to be Colliers? Went there when it was Colliers, was overcharged and they didn't even look at half the things I asked them to. Stupidly went back when it changed to Lancaster and was even worse; felt fobbed off, disapointed and robbed frankly.
Going a bit further afield is Sturgess LR in Leicester. Never been there so have no idea, anyone have any feedback?
It's a sad state of affairs isn't it when you feel like you dont really want to take it to any of them!!!!!!!!
I don't really want to go further afield and there is some warranty work to do so really would prefer main dealer.
Any thoughts?

We bought our D4 and Disco Sport from Sturgess, from a dealer point of view, they're better than Guy Salmon, but who isn't. I've not had a car serviced there yet, mine's due in December. 1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Been to guy salmon several times with this disco and other ones.
Last two visits service was not great in January had to take the car back to have service indicator reset " they forgot to do it" despite ticking box indicating it had been done. Previous to that they left oily fingerprints on A-pillar trim had to take it back to be valeters. I actually bought my car from Listers Droitwich branch but when I phoned the Solihull branch for a quote on servicing they were more expensive. 2015 Discovery 4 SE Tech

Last time I was in Listers Solihull, it was still the same staff as before. However, I've not had mine serviced by them for a long time (and no longer have a LR !) so can't comment on current performance. Mark.

Ended up choosing Sturgess in Leicester, partly because I've got a meeting over that way on a day that was convenient and partly becuase I haven't used them before so thought they would be worth a try.
Booking in was nice and slick so will have to see how we go.

Good luck and hope you find them, had to drop mine off as LRA could only supply a loan car through them. No sign on main road, have to go down side road, from where it is reminded me of a back street under the arches operation., will see how efficient they are at fixing mine.

I know its a touch late, but I've used Colliers in Birmingham. They are now part of Lancaster group so will have to see if anything changes but in the past they have been pretty good. (hope that doesnt come back to bite me  )
