Vehicle stuck in Lo
Hi , I've just bought my first LR3 and I've just tested the height and drive settings, the vehicle is now stuck in Lo and wont go back to Road.
Is there a manual overide? what do folks suggest
When you say "lo" presumably you mean "Access Height" ?
Are there any lights on the dashboard?
You will probably have to get the codes read and post them on here so someone can give you an idea of what is going on.
Did you buy privately, at auction or from a trader?
What about service history ?

- Are all latched devices (doors, boot, etc.) closed when trying to raise/lower?
- Is engine on (needs to be to raise unless you have an IID tool)?
- Is it locked in Access Height? You may need to press and hold the raise button to unlock it

Transfer box is in Lo? If so, start the engine, put the main gearbox into Neutral if it's auto or manual and then select Hi. The main gearbox needs to be in neutral to allow it to go from hi to lo and back again.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Tried that, no change, going back and forth, putting it in Neutral, holding, disconnected the battery
Is there a manual reset, can I take out the Selector arm and solenoid?
Not that I'm aware of without using a diagnostic tool. The ecu that controls the hi/lo range is in the engine bay, it could have got wet or failed or some other fault. The actuator is part of the transfer box and has various internal sensors, it's not like a solenoid and lever on others.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Remember a recent Thread, where it was "just" the Switch Unit, that was about to be changed and that solved the issue...TDV6MY07-automatic-LHD-noDPF-iidbt-ffrrMod
