thermostat connector tube TDV6
Hi.
My Disco TDV6 has sprung a coolant leak, running down the engine on the water pump side.
This doesn't appear from the water pump, but on the side of the block.
I was hooking up my camping trailer on Friday, when i noticed coolant on the floor from the night before.
This wasn't my regular parking spot, and there was no coolant where i normally park.
I replaced the y-piece coolant collector between the heads last year, with the old one having done 80k km, and still in good condition. My Disco uses(leaks?) very little coolant, maybe 50-100 ml in 6 months.
From what i have gathered, it could be the Thermostat Connector Tube. I picked up a new one from LR yesterday.
My problem is that i can't find any directions to replace it. I can't even see it under all the auxiliaries. I know where it is located as i had a look on an old engine block, the part itself is easy to replace.
I am quite handy, and have serviced and repaired my own vehicles. i am also methodical, and would like to get to this part in the correct way.
I have searched this form over the weekend for directions, but didn't succeed. Could someone please point me in the right direction.

I would go in thru the wheel arch
It's a long way in though.
Have a look. See what's in the way

this is a pic of the part, I hope it is this part leaking.
it looks like a job to get to it.
I am currently driving around with SWAMBO's Defender 90, so I am not complaining.
