ok ... finally I'm setting off. screwed up flight out and faced with 2hrs coach to Leeds Bradford to start the day tomorrow. wishing I'd driven now.
F-i-L is currently back in hospital as of 2:30 this morning when they had to call an ambulance, just about 6 hrs after I booked him a flight back to the UK.
SWMBO is exhausted, some of the trips to visit at hospital have been 8hrs+ just for 90 mins visiting.

Good start ... Not. Slept through alarm snooze but luckily as eldest sprog was taking me to coach station he woke me an hour later. Driver was just starting coach up but saw me. Next stop Bradford. As homage to DSL I'll post pictures of all the reindeer I see on the way. Hey, what the elk!.

Sat in Bradford Exchange waiting for connecting coach to the airport. Enjoying the company of local drunkard. Well, when I say "enjoying" I mean listening to loud slurring explanation of how he cut his hand because he hadn't appreciated there is a skill to drinking whisky. Thank fook he's sat 20 foot away and has picked on someone else ... Who strangely seems to be enjoying the chat..

In the app you'll have an arrow symbol top right of the screen, select that then Modify then wind on time, but max is still 4 hrs. You can set it up initially for 12 hrs, but just let that run as any modifying brings the limit down to 4 hrs.

Ok ... I'm going to stop posting on this thread as title is misleading now, but the trip went as follows...
Left home by car at 3:35 after oversleep by an hour
Coach to Bradford
Walk to main Bradford coach station
Coach to Leeds Bradford airport
Queue to check-in was approx. 1/2 mile , based on most of length of airport plus 10 back and forth barriered lanes of more than 40 yards in actual booking in hall.
Beer.
Bus across airport.
Flight itself.
Bus across Naples airport ... Must be cheaper for jet2 to disembark wrong side of runway from terminal building.
Walk to shuttle bus.
Walk to bus terminus hidden behind train station. ( and for those not in the know, shuttle bus stops where you can't tell you're at train station so nearly missed stop!)
Two beers.
Bus to Foggia... 2 1/2 hours, packed bus, no loo, broken seat. Air con ok but all passengers had been stood in sweltering heat for 20 minutes getting on ... So safe to say we were all a bit smelly. That said, nice fast ride.
SWMBO waiting. Short soppy moment then on with the marathon.
Car to hospital... Family friend who didn't know way to hospital from station (2 miles) so drove over 5 miles in wrong direction to somewhere he knew the way from.
2 hours with fatherinlaw.
2 Beers at hospital bar ... This Italy remember 😀
Bus to train station
Run to tram
Tram to lucera.
Bus to Alberona.
About 21:15 so nearly 17 hours since I left home.
