Wish me luck as I only bought it 3 weeks ago so Its totally unknown to me !!
Fingers crossed its not too bad... Got to MOT the Disco 2 in a few weeks time too !!*D3 V8 SE Blue 2004 on LPG with Rock sliders, roof rack/Ladder, snorkel, 275/65x18 STT Muds, engine/G/box ally protection.

*D3 V8 HSE silver 2004 on LPG (Wife's) SOLD
*Maserati Gran Turismo, the Gentlemans cruiser with a V8 soundtrack.
Had a few issues as for some reason the truck was coming up as a class 7 vehicle altho the logbook says M1. First garage refused to do anything so I rang DVSA and they saud the garage can just bypass this... turns out they can't if they only do class 4 cars !!
So took it to another garage (Halfords) and they had the same issue but they kindly spoke to DVSA and DVSA changed it on their system...
And the truck passed .. Well happy.*D3 V8 SE Blue 2004 on LPG with Rock sliders, roof rack/Ladder, snorkel, 275/65x18 STT Muds, engine/G/box ally protection.

many thks
it passed , or passed ,
was told to keep an eye on the upper rear wishbone bushes , hasn't got to the stage of an advisory or fail but would be worth replacing them , so at some stage will just have to get the upper arms replaced
as i know i wouldn't be able to take a job like that on
not sure if i need to get 4 x wheel alignment done after
don't know what costs are either

Good news about the MOT Gary, I had my rear upper arms replaced in April and it cost me well over £1k with the four wheel alignment which you do need after this job.
Mine goes in on Monday for MOT and replacement Inter cooler hoses.

blimey didn't think it would be that high
if it comes to it i will try and do them myself, see u can buy a pair of upper arms complete for just over £200
suppose if i allow another £50 for bolts etc
£100 quid for alignment
was that a main dealer that replaced urs plse
good luck with the MOT and all goes well

To be fair I had some other suspension bit's and pieces fitted at the same time but the main part was the rear upper arms.
Apparently the mounting bolts need to be genuine as they don't hold otherwise. I got the bits at trade & had them fitted by my local indie.

Yes had a bit of other work done too.
I sent it for alignment after changing ARB bushes and they couldn't do it because they found various other steering/suspension things wrong so I had that box of bits in the pic fitted + upper arms done.
