New owner - first plea for help! Headlight aim

Hi, picked up my HSE V8 last week from a member here and love it

But I noticed on my journey home that my near side main beam was low, quite a bit lower than offside

So I've tried to adjust it but found that the adjustment screws move the whole headlamp assembly, so if the main beam is fine the dipped is far too high, I take it that the dipped beam should self level back down!

I've even replaced the main beam bulb itself incase it was bent and causing the beam to bend down but that made no difference

Looking for suggestions for my next step

Are they Xenons? If so might be the shutter is stuck.

Yes, knew I forgot to mention something

They are HSE xenon's, the xenon main beams lift as they should, it's the extra halogen high beam that's really low

If its the halogen main beam, I guess you need to open up the headlight itself and look for a problem

I have the same problem with my drivers side one. On mine it appears something has come off/loose in the headlight unit. The unit holding the xenon blub is loose, it's as if a screw on top has come off and lets the xenon fall back a little thus pointing higher than it should. I had the unit open once for a detango but didn't have time to take it all apart. (Well couldn't get it apart in the time I had). I tied mine up with a piece of string as a temp fix and it's about half way there, not a fix but better than it was. So following this to see if anyone can show you how to fix it.
