Some dented my lexus in the car park and I had to get it repaired, when I got the car back it had some settled overspray or something on it, the clay mitt was the only thing that would get it off.

I personally use a clay bar but they do the same job of removing all the impurities out of the paint work. But if you go down that route there is no turning back next you will be using the two bucket cleanStephen

Works a treat. Just make sure it's kept wet at all times or it will pick up
Door bottoms were rough as f**k, now they are like glass!
Rinse the mitt thoroughly, let it dry and it's ready for next time Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Just be aware that by using the clay bar/mitt you're removing most of the contaminants in the paint but also any protective layers. A quick shampoo after claying followed by a layer of polish and then a good wax or equivalent last-stage protection should do the trick (and make it a lot easier to wash in future).
You're right Slobbox - the 2BM is the only way! Previously owned an '08 D3 HSE in Stornoway grey but jumped ship to see what the Swedes have to offer.

Did a bit of 'Clay Bar' last night. I use Autosmart Tardis to get the tar spots off, then the clay to get the other sh**e off.
