Roof Bars Please Help !
Hi, Can someone please advise me on securing ladders to genuine discovery 3 roof bars ?
The bars appear to be very wide not enabling a ladder clamp to secure. Is it possible to obtain eyelets that fit into the roof bars that are wide enough to accept the hook section of ladder clamps ?
or if anyone has other ideas how to secure ladders, ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance and apologies if this question is posted in the incorrect place.

was on a transit , sorry can't remember the size
expect the best thing would be to measure the bar and go down halfords or local exhaust centre for the size of clamp
there useto be some extra large clamps that had a bigger hook than normal for larger bars, so u could just hook the clamp on as normal
are urs like the aero bars, which are oval in shape
would u be able measure them plse, will see then if i can find the extra wide ladder T bolt clamps

just quickly
is something like this any good , page takes a little while to load
The eyelet bolts slot into the cross bars and give anchor poits wherever you need them depending on the load.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. I've just used ratchet straps when securing things on my roof bars.
