At dealership having 4wheel alignment
Any views on this as it pulled to the right gradually and the steering wheel was off center but it had various bits of the steering components replaced before we bought it, so had the local tyre shop do my tracking whilst they fitted my new rears and they were a little quick lol and now it pulls to the left a little more than before, so it's now in at Harwoods LR after having heard that tight tolerance needed to be enabled before aligning could take place accurately, so needing it be as good as it could be for our road trip to Spain in 26days time
Thanks Dave

which to be honest I would be disappointed if I had spent the £35.995 as shown on the paperwork I signed.

I always use my dealer for alignment. I had mine done last month got in the car drove it up the road and the wheel wasn't straight! So took it back and they did it again the next day!

Most dealers don't have 4 wheel alignment capability in house.
They sub this out to the nearest Hunter equipped centre and charge a hefty premium in the process.
A much better option is to use the link above and go direct as they nearly all have a while you wait service and you won't be paying dealers prices. Mods:

Less than £40?
Surely it's worth more than that!

Had my alignment done during the week, £70 but feels a lot better and got rid of a brake judder.
Usually £40 unless any alterations are needed
i wouldn't have it done if it wasn't needing altered

Lol @ £40 but it was a manual
Got it back and it seems ok, very precise now which is good I guess, better than vague lol they found it had bolts not tightened to certain requirements, just before we bought it had new arms etc which are non genuine and could be a few mm difference to genuine which sounds a little odd?!
I think it was carried out on site
£175 all in including the insurance for the err courtesy car.. But they found the rear brake caliper maybe seized or something as there was a discrepancy with pad thickness 2mm difference over the rear axle, so that may need rebuilding or renewal at £280 plus fitting it!! There is simply not enough pay days in a year lol
Oh well at least they cleaned it which was on my list today or tmrw..

Wow I paid £89 including a courtesy car for my 4 wheel alignment at my local JLR dealer. My dealer has the equipment to do it on site too

£175 for a 4 wheel alignment.
I had mine done a couple of weeks ago and paid about 40% of that, while you wait, no courtesy car needed.
Our local Guy Salmon uses the very same place too as they have nothing capable in-house.Mods:

I had mine done on a Hunter machine at Kwick-Fit for less then £100 with free re-checks in the next 12 months.
(e.g. after doing suspension work or fitting new tyres etc, or just hitting a pot-hole.)

I'm happy with the job they did setting it up after new front arms etc.
Infact they did a better job than an 'independent' with the same (Hunter) equipment. And at least they gave me the before and after print-out and were happy for me to watch...
