LR3 rear driveshaft replacement - loose

Gents

I checked my rear driveshaft seems loosen, means you could hold it and move it front and back (left/right) with your hand.

Is there any idea on how to replace it, is universal joint replacement is sufficient?

Thanks

So check, if You have play, or can see extended wear in Part#4 of Your table above

In a LR workshop they will only change the whole prop shaft in one, when Iirc...

There is also an alternative method with using sikaflex to replace the missing rubber housing of the center bearing. Could be cheapest, easiest and fastest way of solving it for a while...

Did mine the other day as centre bearing rubber split, read up and it seems most people do whole prop, once old one removed I was glad I had bought a new prop as the rear universal joint was very notchy, badly designed set up for a u/j to have to work in.

Island 4x4 are the cheapest at the moment, they have it listed under GKN but does come with a britpart sticker on it!
