I'm no expert on the D3 or Warranties. EPB would be the obvious one - that seems to have problems. That won't be covered. The four wheel drive system - I think a couple of people had reported leaking diffs... it's rare - but still. On my D2, the airbags in the suspension went after a while - they or the compressor wouldn't be covered...
I dunno really. Personally, you've got to have an awful lot go wrong with it if your parts are only covered at 50%.... but then it's only got to work once on a big job to pay for itself.
If it was me, I might be tempted to the full blown total cover on a sub-60K car, but not sure if I'd want to take all the other penalties.

Good one, and EPB, I'll start making a list before I challenge them.
FBH, sorry to be ignorant, but exactly what does it do ......
apart from a heater that burns fuel I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

I had a warranty works ( www.warrantyworks.co.uk ) on the last car and there didn't seem to be many exclusions. Obviously it doesn't mean they pay out, but they aren't listed.
I sold the car and the warranty was transferred to the new owner. I didn't have to claim either so I have no experience of whether they are any good.
As long as you know your in the right, a small claims court is cheap and easy to do.

Stuff that may not be covered...
'computer' based stuff - all the electronic control systems / ecu's etc, & the time it takes to trace things that are eventually blamed on an electronic or software failure.
Remember all those exposed wires under the car & at the back of the engine bay?
I reckon we should all take shares in 10forcash to cover these items
Dave Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!
