Suspension Compressor Removal Help - Bolts Solid

Hi All,

i've been working away at my suspension compressor as it was showing warning lights on the dash. I followed a guide of this website (which was fantastic) and i noticed that air was leaking from the plastic lid. so i have replace the plastic lid with a brand new shiney metal lid and new washers - fantastic no more air leaks. Very Happy

The issue i have now is the car keeps thinking its bottomed out - i have purchased the suspension overhaul kit, now to fit this kit i need the compressor completely removed...... Whistle

Bolts securing the compressor to the chassis are solid and i have no idea how i'm going to get the compressor down to install the kit.

Any help, more than likely needing a mechanic around central Scotland - if anybody has any recommendations.

Thanks,

Tony

You need to rag them out using a good 10mm socket and bar, the chassis clip will be useless anyway and you need to order some new ones. Best of luck trying to overhaul it if you cant get the mounting bolts out, I dont hold much hope of anything on the compressor coming undone, it will probably break anyway.

Flack Thumbs Up
