Air suspension pipework

The two pipes on the back of the Hitachi compressor are different sizes inlet/exhaust as in the pic below

Found the source of my leak, further soapy water checks which I am so glad I done.

I had another look at the two pipes at the back of the compressor and the lower inlet intake pipe is 8mm outside diameter, and the top pipe exhaust is 10mm outside diameter, just thought it was a helpful tip for others thinking about doing the AMK upgrade, was a bit confused as i thought the top pipe was 6mm exhaust must be ID/OD sizes I guess.

Would I be correct in thinking that the rest of the air supply pipework is 10mm,just wanting to get some bits together pipe connectors and different pipe sizes prior to Amk switch over.

Thanks in advance guy's
 Andy

Good rule of thumb with any solid/semi solid pipe is it will mainly be measured o/d as with your nylon pipe and most flexi pipe is normally measured i/d.

Thanks for that guys, above info taken on board, got some 10mm and 8mm pipe and some straight connectors and a few elbows for possible airline repairs in the future. Thumbs Up
