2nd battery and invertor
Hello,
I was wondering whether anyone had any advice or recommendations.
I was thinking of having a second battery installed in to my D3, and connected to an invertor, so it can power things that require a 240v power source. I would also like it to be connected to a solar panel so the second battery can be topped up when the engine isn't running, but connected to the alternator so when he engine is running the second battery can be charged.
Can anyone give any advice, recommendations, I would probably have it done at a garage, what sort of cost am I looking at?
Hi, try searching aux battery, split charge, solar
Can be done seperated from can-system, so no special discovery solution neededTDV6MY07-automatic-LHD-noDPF-iidbt-ffrrMod

Best off doing this thing yourself and building the system up but by bit.
E.g add solar later

There are a few 2nd battery builds on here, just do a search on "2nd+battery"
I have the T-Max system with my 2nd battery you can add solar if you wish, here's a link to one on eBay (Nothing to do with me)

Finally, as for the inverter, I just purchased one of the bay and use it running off one of the 12v sockets in the back Iggy/Ieuan
