Power Steering pump video up now.

Hi Chaps just asking if any of good self's had problems with the p.s.p whinnying on acceleration, or a whinnying noise generally from the front end.

Bit of a vague description, if you have the time and a smart phone may help to record the noise and post a link I bet someone will recognise the sound.
Ive not read of any pas pump issues.
Water pumps yes alternators yes and belt tensioners x 2 yes.
Could also be intercooler hose starting to split.

Alternator is that side, not sure if they have a one way clutch or not?
Pas pump is passenger side and can be seen when looking down the front side of the engine it has a large banjo bolt in the top.

If you search alternator there is a recommended make Denso?, dont go cheap as theres loads of posts where they have caused issues.

cheers for that after having a good look it seems to be the bearing on the alternator is making noise so I'm going with a new denso and whilst in there going to replace water pump and belt tensioners too.
