Please can anyone recommend (highly) a good independent LR garage to service my Disco 3 in North Herts/Cambridge area?

If you can stretch to East Herts/Essex border, try Phoenix Services. 3 knowledgeable, experienced and approachable mechanics.

I had Taylors Land Rover in Great Dunmow do my 7 year service this year, great service, pleasant to deal with and cheaper than most other independents.

These guys do mine http://www.howe-engineering.co.uk/. They serviced and replaced a timing belt on may last '06 Disoo3 and have serviced and reflashed my current ('09) one.
Good service, if you speak to them (speak to Steve or Stuart), tell them that Rob recommended them

Searched the thread and as an update:
MRH Land Rover - Hertford: a business adjustment (?) they do Porsche/Bentley in the new
guise.....but will still do LR
Bob Empson & Son - Elsworth: bodyshop still trading but garage service no longer trading
Giving Howe Engineering Hare StreeT a try and will report back D3 2.7 Zermatt silver (not another one)

Well nearly Cambs......I forgot that I said I would update 
They had my car to investigate and solve mysteries of suspension problems. I was convinced that this garage knew about Discos as within a very short period of time (that I was paying for) they came back with a root and branch cause of problems with a plan. Seems that it never is easy with a D3 and never cheap.
Steve, the top man allowed me to source parts via his contacts and through MMJ (Bob Jackson) on here and got me back on the road quickly. The bill.......was reasonable. I am convinced I have found a 'good un" someone who knows about Discos D3 2.7 Zermatt silver (not another one)
