D3 suspension / removal of wheels.

Evening all.
I am waiting to take my D3 to the garage to have the Suspension looked at. The compressor has been checked out to be ok. But the suspension will not lift nor lower when you use the switch on the console next to the gear stick.
Are you still able to jack the vehicle up to remove / replace the rear wheels or not. Will the suspension right itself when all four wheels are on the ground.
Your views would be appreciated yet again.
thanks in advance

Obvious thinking would be the airbag system
Isn't getting any air !!!

I only experienced this when the main airline from the compressor got a hole in it from rubbing on the park brake Cable, after a short while the air compressor burnt itself out.

Not sure what you are asking about, When you jack up the car?

If you are worried about the car lifting off a jack
When the airbags reinflate, just open a door, this will stop any movement in the air suspension

I think the Taggart is wondering that if he jacks it up to change a wheel, will the suspension reset to standard height when back on all four wheels. Due to the current problem with the suspension switch he wont be able to reset it if it extends whilst being jacked up. I personally don't have an answer.

best not to risk it, if it's nicely level in normal mode and you want to drive it to the garage or drive places in it.

You could remove the small 20A fuse though, before you jack it up. That would work Thumbs Up
