How tight are JLR

been doing some planning for front sensors and fogs on my d3 GS MY58 and not only have they stopped putting in the front sensor loom connector by MY58 (although fog connection is there) but they also don't put in the switched earth or pdc led wire up to the hazard/Dsc/locking/pdc on off switch panel.

Does anyone know the pin I/O for the hazard switch panel so I can add the connection s back to the pdc module?

Thanks

The subject was more of a rhetorical observation than a specific question Laughing ; what about the harder question of connector pins Thumbs Up

Is it worth YOU putting in 2 wires?

Well when the faulty sensors are screaming at you, you will be glad you did.

I definitely intend too but I am wondering which pins on the switch panel I need to use for the led feed and switched earth. I know the pins on the pdc module end just not the hazard light control panel connector at the dash end.

As a slight aside... Why do you need an on off switch for front but not for rears - surely if error alerts are audible they could occur for either front or rear?

So you have purchased a new panel?
It's an interesting question.

The tears give an error tone.
But the fronts display an error message on the dash and make a constant noise below 10 mph
So very annoying when you come to a stop lol

Yep, I received the new panel today. It the button didnt do anything so took off the c pillar trim to investigate. Thats when realised there are no wires coming from the pdc connector that has the power, can hi low and sounder. It should have 8 wires in it but only has 6. Misses the switched -ve and switch led from the front panel.

Guess I'll get the multimeter out tomorrow and have a poke about.

Anyone got contact details for a good supplier of the front sensors, bumper loom and the sensor shrouds. Heard of a Nick mentioned on other threads but no contact details or company.

Cheers

On an RRS the wiring pins are :

5 LED
14 switch
15 ground

However I think the D3 panel is different.

I purchased a sensor from these guys over a month ago and it was fine
