I left the orange reflector strips on the side and hacksawed the rest away. After looking at other people's modifications on this forum I thought this look best. I think it's the case of some people like it and some don't.
I have just edited the post now so all pics should be in the right order now.
looks really nice
i removed all the rear badges on mine
like the puddle lights
mines just the basic D3 so assume none of the wiring is there
By installing an led lamp in these You get the same result, bright enough to find/see things on the ground.
The light circle may be a nice effect, but unneccesarily bright in the dark to the eyes.TDV6MY07-automatic-LHD-noDPF-iidbt-ffrrMod

My LR3 doesn’t have these puddle lights in the door but I noticed it has rectangular shaped recessed areas where the lights should be that I’d imagine would be easy to pop out and fit some after market lights but is there any wiring inside the door card to fit after market lights ?

I have found with many different cars I have owned the looms are standard so wiring is usually there but some models such as volvo for example you need plugged into diagnostic to get things working. I am new to the discovery scene so not sure about the loom in these

The projector logo puddle lights are definitely a marmite thing but i personally like them, even put them in my D4 now but i think you will find the logo dissapears or disintergrates after some time. Think ive changed mine 2 or 3 times at least as the logo looks a little messy once it goes D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo
D3 HSE MY06 missing her still…

Hi
I did indeed find the wiring there, was wrapped in some foam, just got to cut the door card for the puddle light
