Buzzing noise from brake calipers whilst cleaning

Strange one this, intermittent buzzing noise from front brake calipers whilst cleaning the wheels with Halfords wheel cleaner.
It was almost as if the wear sensor was checking itself?
If they are on an 'S', also the ignition was not on, so really spooked me. However it was consistent cos both sides did it.

Any thoughts Question
Apart from me going mad and hearing things Aardvark

Any idea how long the ABS is still active for as the car was parked for a good 15-20 mins before I got to cleaning the wheels, after the rest of the thing.
What on earth is it sensing for?
I thought the ABS sensed the wheel locking by either a mechanical ring of notches or the optical equivalent.
Also it only seemed to buzz when scrubbing with the big toothbushy thing with the cleaner on it, so I was thinking more along the lines of a short cicuit sort of buzz, but why I can't inagine.
