Well after over 4 years of ownership the inevitable eventually happened, my D3 sat on her ar5e and wasn't playing
On my way up the road from a weekend in Yorkshire, about 10 miles into my journey the suspension warning light came on and the 30mph warning on dash. As I've never had any faults like this I pulled into a supermarket car park, feeling gutted.
A few phone calls and not 1 LR indie/dealer in the Skipton area was willing to give any form of help
AA = brilliant, a call to disco Mikey while waiting confirmed exactly where fault lay. This pointed the AA man to it, but he had a good idea as he has seen this before. Temporary fix, enough to get home before getting new connectors from Mike so it doesn't happen again.

Did you go to Keelham Farm shop for a pie to sustain yourself?

No it was about 10.30 in the morning, had pies from Keelham farm shop but was feeling a bit dejected so didn't bother.
Funnily enough while waiting on AA the staff were unloading a lorry on the hill and as soon as the forklift raised the load a little it toppled to the ground

But in the same week, the mileage reached 100000 miles,
So 1 breakdown in my 4 years isn't bad I suppose

150k for me over the weekend, and a new prop going in tomorrow, alongside an MOT, thankfully I did the 10 year service back at 135k so at least the service will be cheap enough!
