D3 to D4 2015 xenon lights conversion not working correctly

Hi all,

my first post here, with great great help of this forum, i managed to convert my d3 2004 to look like a 2015, all bumpers, everything all ready to go, except for the mirrors, which i aint concerned about just yet.

im actually having an issue with my headlights, they work perfectly fine after the conversion except for one issue, i had xenons so replaced with the 2015 xenons too. so the issue is that when the lights are on side lights, when i try use the full beam, by flashing, it will not work, i can see the sign on the dashboard, and also i can hear the light moving, since i think its like a flap which moves up to allow the full beam. this only happens with side lights, if the lights are on dipped beam and i flash and it works completely fine.

please advise, i would highly appreaciate if someone can help me. slightly upset as you can imagine after spending a good amount on the parts/paint and now having this issue:(.

thanks all for your time in reading this!

Well know issue, the lights function differently, you need to feed the main with a relay as without dip on they have no power Thumbs Up

Dip and main beam use the same bulb. When you flash it moves a shutter out of the way turning the dipped beam into the main beam. You need a wiring mod to achieve what your after. A few on here have done it and it works just fine Thumbs Up
