That's why I thought 255 65 18 is taller or maybe 255 70 18.

Dave,

Are you aware of any tyres in those sizes?

Thanks

Apologise, I just found a good option for 18 wheels:BFG A/T KO 255/70/18. It is 6.7% bigger.
I am not sure if they fit with standard rods.

Great responses, thanks. Also nice to see pics of these heavy beasts on the dunes!

Can the v8 d3 be fitted with 17s? I thought the v8 has bigger brakes?

I once made the mistake of fitting MTs to my wrangler, you could hear me coming from miles away. I'm really looking to retain onroad performance and nvh as far as possible. I've read good things about Goodyear silent armour from the US forums, anyone here had them fitted?

Luckily I have the HD pack with locking diffs. Going out on Friday morning to a nice easy route (fossil rock if you. Know it) to get to know the cars abilities. Will take some pics and let you know how I get on

V8 18" or above, no 17" options for you I'm afraid. Thumbs Up

Yes lucky you, I don't!

Yes I know where it is. Unless you aim for the crest of the dune it is well accessible.
You can it below. Go around it. Looking at it there is a pist going up on the left side.

Watch out for this tree!

Ciao
