Climate control not Controlling Climate |
|
Hi,
I have tried to search and read around this one, but cant seem to find an answer that ties in with what I see.
My climate control no longer controls the climate, initially I just thought it needed a re-gas as it started to get a bit warm, but then on a long nighttime trip I started to get chilly where normally the Disco does that all for me.
If I go into manual mode, if blows strong hot or cold and through the selected vent(s), so I dont think its a blower or vent control thing (althoguh its maybe not a arctic as it was)
I looked behind the dash vent and see a "sock" covered sensor, so I assume thats not blocked?
I guess its the sensor OR whatever the control unit is, can anyone point me at diagnostic methods for the sensor and controller, if not a part number or links to parts?
Its a 2009 HSE BTW.
Thanks,

Hi,
Just to say it seems better but no work done on this, however the ESF issue was fixed wiht a new turbo.
Is it possible that any ESF puts the Climate Control into "Economy" e.g disables the AirCon?
