DVD through Nav screen

I've had a coax cable made up with the correct connector for the nav unit and tried following Woodman's instructions but got no further than the screen showing the status of the 3 inputs (TV/DVD, Companion Cam and Reversing Cam). I am getting to the 4th screen shown in this thread:

http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic149.htm...panion+cam

My car has TV fitted so the screen shows the word "Fitted" under the config box. I'm trying to connect a remote DVD to the companion cam input. I can't work out how the screen detects that there is feed into it and wonder if the configurator needs changed...if so, how?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Nick

You need to touch one of the black screens ..depending on which of the 3 inputs you have connected to.

It will not say "fitted" ...and you will have to do that each time you want to use it ..

Hope that helps

Make sure you have the dvd switched on other wise it will just show a black screen.

Also theres 2 buttons in the bottom left ..pal /ntsc and a normal / wide screen ...have a mess with them till you get the right look on the sat nav screen ..

Unfortunatly , they wont store either ...you have to set them each time aswell. Sad

Thanks again Wiggs. I got to the black screen but still no joy. It may be that I'm not getting an output correctly from the dvd player itself, so I'm going to try a camera to see if that works. Rgds, Nick
