BFG KO2 265/65 18
Hi all
Just joined what looks like a great site for info. New to the world of discovery 3 but not to Land Rovers
Have just acquired a 2008 HSE model. Lots of questions for those in the know but want to start with the most important as far as getting it ready for my needs. It has come with 19" rims and 255/55 tyres which are no good for me. I have BFG AT KO2s on my L200 which are great tyres so want to fit them to this.
Now 19's are out so I also have a set of 18" rims of a discovery 3. I am looking at getting 265/65 18 BFG AT KO2 fitted or hoping to. Now have been searching and getting a bit of conflicting info regarding if these will fit. So could anyone let me know for certain if these will fit with no rubbing to a standard discovery 3 and do not cause problems in any the suspension settings.
Many thanks
Cheers

The 265/60 fit with no problems. The 265/65 might cause some minor rubbing at full lock and you'll need to deflate the spare tyre to make it fit in the space underneath. Your Speedo will also tell you that you're going slower than you really are so watch out for points on your license.MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

Many thanks for that. I think as there is very little between a 60 and a 65 and seeing that the Ko2 comes in that size that will be my choice. Certainly better if it means I can keep a spare inflated
Cheers again for info.

I run 265/65 KO2, it only rubs my mud flaps because they're series iii flaps I've added myself. No other rubbing experienced. I've not tried to stick the spare under either but I was told it would fit at full pressureD4.5 Facelift, Lazer ST4, Prospeed underbody and rack, IID BT, Compomotive/BFG KO2, Series MFlaps, RAI, Dog Gd+XBB, Alive Tuned, T-Max/YellowTop, RemoteFBH, GlassesMod, WheelWinchMod, Jack Mod, LED Mods, Seized Crank Mod....

Thanks for that. So with normal mud flaps on they should be ok. Guessing that you also have no probs with the air suspension settings and that in normal setting on road they are ok.
Thanks again

265/65/18 BFG AT's fitted to mine. They all fit well, no rubbing, even in access mode, spare fits inflated, but needs heat shield removed, and is tight whith it being brand new. Just swapped with a slightly warn one and that fitted easily.

Thanks again.
