For reasons I've never been able to understand LR never include the 3 year brake fluid changes in schedules like this and don't include it in the costs quoted for the 3 and 6 year services. It is on the main schedule sheet though.

If you walk in and ask for a 3 year service do you get the brake fluid change or not or do you specificaly have to ask for it and pay extra for it (which is madness given it is on the service sheet)?

I guess you miss my point - the official schedule requires the brake fluid to be changed every 3 years. However it is never included in the price when a dealer produces the type of schedule that you have posted.

It just leaves me wondering why they do that and how many actually have the brake fluid changed at the interval specified by the manufacturer.

Same as the brake hose change at 6Y on the D3. Hundreds extra at the last minute. Banging Head

Why are they charging for a sump bung when the workshop manual is to extract via the vacuum tube? Surely they don't allow the technicians extra time to remove the undertray etc when it takes 5mins to extract via the tube?
