Oil leaking problem discovery 4

Hello,

Mine also has the same problem . Discovery 4 2015 TDV6. Can it be fixed by replacing O ring? or need to replace the sensor? Thanks for the informative forum

discovery 4 oil leak by starter motor

https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic159258.html

Hello,

I think I also have the same issue Discovery 4 2015. Can I know whether this can be fixed by replacing O ring or need to replace whole sensor and gasket by removing the sum?

Thank you,
Tharaka

Have pm'd

seems to be 4 leaks possible
1. oring..horrah easy fix
2. sensor err bit worse
3 loom issue...expensive
4 oil misting down from turbo oil pipe connection. easier but a bit costly
It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

Did you manage to replace both o-rings in situ? Was there enough slack in the cable? I assume I would have to drain the oil first? Seen some people comment it can be done in 30 mins Shocked

Cheers.
