Just a great looking car..
I turned around from tree pruning to be faced with this. I couldn't resist a snap.. even after years and crazy repair bills I just love it to bits. Great lines and enjoyable driving. I can see me upgrading any time soon..

Clean sadly doesn't last very long. It's nice once in a while Narpy Grill, tinted windows, Smooth leather wheel (TLO Group buy), ACM fitted (thanks TLO), Rear door loom and Row 2 & 3 audio switch upgrade, RRS 20" wheel change, 285 Cooper LTZ's Sat Nav Mod (until I get a Faultmate upgrade), Front & Rear lamp guards. 4x4 screen now switched on - Woody32, Follow me home reverse lights - woody32, Auto release EPB - Woody32. Off Road Navigation - Woody32. Remap + EGR's switched off. Full chassis clean and Waxoyl.
It's fully functional on a list of practical features.
A piece of classic automotive architecture.
Well thought out at the time.BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Two is always good.
But nothing as exotic as LA and NY, ours are LSOTD and RSOTD.

My old was my pride & joy. After 7 years of loving her , I upgraded to my new love and what a upgrade she is , it took me a long time to let the D3 go,

I don't think I'm ready for an upgrade yet. I like the chunky two tone silver and black over the slick colour coded d4. I'm sure they're just as lovely but changing up would feel a bit like a devorce for the sake of it.
(That's code for Ive never sat in a D4)
Sometimes I wish I had an auto but my SE is still well spec'd, at 80k the mileage is lower than most D4's and it's had a few upgrades to personalise it.
Ive just fitted a new rear diff, prop shaft and handbrake module so Here's to another years perma grin Narpy Grill, tinted windows, Smooth leather wheel (TLO Group buy), ACM fitted (thanks TLO), Rear door loom and Row 2 & 3 audio switch upgrade, RRS 20" wheel change, 285 Cooper LTZ's Sat Nav Mod (until I get a Faultmate upgrade), Front & Rear lamp guards. 4x4 screen now switched on - Woody32, Follow me home reverse lights - woody32, Auto release EPB - Woody32. Fine looking Disco you have there Simonstarski
My D3 was the best looking Disco I had, I loved it. Still look at a D3 at the side of mine and prefer the front of the D3, it was cool when it came out and has seamlessly gone retro cool in my view.
Bought SWMBO 2 D3s over the years I used to love our driveway with them both parked up.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten
