Garmin North America maps
Hi,
I currently have a Garmin Nuvi 1490 with lifetime map updates for Europe however I go to the USA every year and tend to hire a sat nav which costs me a lot! I would like to get an SD card with North American maps on.
Does anyone have one they are looking to part with?
Thanks,
Jamie

It's cheaper to buy a satnav when you get over there complete with maps and bring it back with you and flog it on Ebag It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Has anyone gone down the route of renting one from the companies on eBay?

I use copilot on my phone, I think I got the maps of the USA for about 10 sheets at the time, it was a couple of years ago now but they're constantly updated

Did you need to use your data to use those maps?
